About The Role

Our team in Cardiff provide temporary supported accommodation for males who require a safe space due to being a victim domestic abuse/violence. As one of the few refuges in Wales we provide crucial support to those that require it. We currently have 5 residents at Cedar House, 2 dispersed flats in the Cardiff are for males with children. Our focus is to support individuals in feeling safe, accessing services such as Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Police and Legal services and providing them support to access independent accommodation.

You will play an essential part of our team where you’d be required to work in the project and in the community.

Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.

For the role it is essential to hold a UK Driving Licence & access to a vehicle.

The post holder will be an experienced IDVA/ISVA or have experience of working with victims of Domestic Abuse and be willing to work towards relevant IDVA/ISVA qualification.
