Newly Qualified Social Worker - Children's Services (Permanent)
Location:
Cardiff, Wales
Salary: £36,363 - £40,777 (package up to £45,777)
Retention Payment: £5,000
Contract:
Permanent
Pro Social Partners are working with Cardiff Council to recruit Newly Qualified Social Workers into a supported first year in practice in Children's Services.
The Role- Hold a protected, supported caseload during your first year in practice.
- Complete assessments and direct work with children and families.
- Work alongside experienced colleagues and partner agencies.
- Develop your practice through a structured consolidation programme.
- A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work Wales registration (or eligibility to register on qualification).
- A passion for improving outcomes for children and families.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- £5,000 retention payment.
- Structured support programme for newly qualified practitioners.
- Regular reflective supervision and strong management support.
- A permanent role with job security and local government pension scheme.
