Cardiff is a thriving city standing proud as the capital, and largest city in, Wales. Cardiff has an international reputation, a distinct character, an excellent quality of life with a wide range of cultural, sporting and family attractions. Cardiff was recently voted Europe’s ‘third best’ capital city to live in by the European Union survey and it’s clear to see why.
Just for good measure we have more urban green space than any other city in Britain!
You will be working for one of the largest employers in Wales, joining an experienced leadership team focused on ensuring a clear purpose, ‘can do’ culture, and business systems and practice which improve operational delivery.
We are committed to developing and empowering our frontline workforce. As a team we are passionate about making a positive difference, building on people’s strengths and developing effective, purposeful, relationships. Doing the right thing is invariably the most cost effective and efficient course of action.
About the jobAs Team Manager for one of our four busy Intake and assessment teams you will be working with a full team of committed colleagues. You will need to be able to drive as home and school visits as well as joint visits with police are regularly undertaken. The are many aspects of abuse that we assess including physical harm, emotional harm, sexually and neglect and included FGM and exploitation cases.
