£14.90 per hour.

ABOUT THE JOBThough a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant's own home.
JOB DESCRIPTIONPersonal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELFI am a non-verbal autistic young adult living in the Cardiff Bay area. I experience delays with my speech and communication skills. I need a personal assistant to support me to access the local community and participate in activities. I enjoy going to the parks, trampolining, walking and riding my bike.
PURPOSE OF JOBTo support me to safely access the community.
PLACE OF WORKIn my home and the local community to help me access activities.
HOURS OF WORK6 hours during term time 9 hours during school holidays
RATE OF PAY£14.90
TASKS INVOLVED- Accompany me to places of my choice.
- Assist me with daily tasks.
- Assist me with meals and snacks.
- Make sure I am kept safe.
- Encourage me to explore more interests.
- Someone who is reliable and punctual.
- Someone who is flexible and can adapt to meet my needs.
- Someone who respects privacy.
- Someone who takes initiative and has common sense.
- Someone who has experience working with autistic individuals.
- Desirable to have full driving license.
