Go Engineer

Looking for a Golang engineering role where you can work remotely within a startup environment?  We’re helping our Cardiff based client to scale up the engineering team.

They have a remote set up where you can work anywhere from the UK and never have to visit the office.  You are welcome to join the socials though!

About you:

As mid-level Software Engineer, you will have commercial experience of Golang with either AWS, Azure or Kubernetes.

We’re looking for the right balance between having a passion for everything modern tech/cloud infrastructure and confident; as a collaborative team, we want people to roll up their sleeves and help other teams when needed.  

You have an inquisitive nature and want to constantly develop your skills. If there’s a newer tool that might be more efficient, you’ll research how it can impact the team’s delivery.

You believe the best way to really understand technical capabilities is to break things to build them back up, or you just like designing your own solutions.

Golang, Docker, AWS (EKS, Dynamo

DB, Lambdas, S3, state machine) and Gitlab

Wider teams’ tech stacks:
Python, Java, Type Script, Kubernetes & Azure

They work in an Agile Scrum methodology with daily standups and retrospective planning
