Job Overview

Performance Software (a U.S. company) and Auvation (a UK company) have merged to create midsize companies with a great work-life balance, providing innovative software and hardware to our client companies. We are looking for passionate Software Engineers to design and develop software solutions for state-of-the-art safety‑critical systems in the areas of Avionics and Submarines. This is a full‑time position located in either Cardiff or Cheltenham.

£50,000‑70,000 DOE

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience
• Software development experience involving any of the following: VXWorks, Ada, DO‑178, RTOS, Device Drivers or avionics displays
• Proficiency in at least one language such as C, C++
• Embedded software experience is desired but not required
• Experience with safety‑critical programs is a plus
