Salary

£40,000 - 70,000 per year

• Build and evolve C# microservices and API‑driven backend services

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions
• Support production systems and help resolve defects and performance issues
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers through pairing, reviews, and knowledge sharing

We are working with a business that has ambitious growth plans for this year and are recruiting a Senior Backend Engineer to join the team in Cardiff on a permanent hybrid basis. This is a hands‑on role where you will help build and evolve strategic applications, working on API‑driven microservices and scalable systems that power real customer journeys. You will have scope to influence technical decisions, shape how we build software, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across the business.
