GI Group is currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for our internationally known client in Cardiff CF3. The client provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road‑based market with delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics solutions.
Shifts- Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis (apply online only)
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available and optional
- Average 12‑hour shift
- Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour*
- Saturday: £26.35 per hour*
- Sunday: £29.41 per hour*
* Pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay.
Duties- Conduct vehicle checks
- Trunk work to depots
- Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritise workload to meet time commitments
- A presentable appearance, keen eye for detail and a positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes
- Hold a valid, in‑date tachograph and CPC
- Good customer service skills
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
