HGV General Lorry Driver – PIR

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will work across all divisions to ensure that operational needs are met, ensure loads are delivered on time, and provide an efficient service to customers.

• Hours of work:
  Monday through Friday, must be available for early morning, evening, and weekend work. Occasional night out and weekend work may be required.

• Comply with the rules of the road: speed limits, tachograph use, traffic signs, etc. Deliver goods safely and within specification to the agreed location as instructed, and ensure that all appropriate documentation is signed and returned to the Company.

• Maintain the vehicle in a clean, tidy, and roadworthy condition at all times, and complete a daily maintenance check.

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures is essential.

• Clean Class C+E HGV driving licence and required CPC training.

• Previous driving experience, a flexible approach, and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
