Class 1 Driver - Tramping

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services, offering a range of services including drayage, global freight forwarding, and full truckload transport.

The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works closely with customers to develop action plans that help reduce emissions.

Candidates with significant Class 1 experience are encouraged to apply.

However, those with a few months of solid Class 1 driving experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Typically, 1-3 drops per shift.

Deliver loads to client sites, dropping and swapping trailers once your destination is reached.

Ensure all goods are securely loaded before each journey.

Safely drive modern vehicles across the UK. Operate in compliance with FORS Gold level safety standards.

Drive vehicles from a brand-new fleet.

Work on the Euroclad contract, which will involve manual handling duties when required.

Requirements:
Valid LGV C+E Licence.

Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.

Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.

No DD, DR, or IN endorsements.

Willingness to carry out manual work as part of the Euroclad contract.

All drivers must successfully pass an on-site assessment.

Benefits: £15.15 per hour.

Up to 4 nights out per week, paid at £26.20 per night.

Monday to Friday working only.

Weekends and bank holidays off. 28 days paid holiday.

Weekly pay.
