Multi Drop Delivery Driver  This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

** 48 hours Per Week (Monday – Saturday)        
** Salary:**       £15:30 per hour

* Job Purpose:

** To ensure the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled product and invoices to the customer within the corporate guidelines.
** Key Accountabilities*
* * To maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.
* To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc.
* To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
* To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle.
* To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work.
* To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
* To check all orders shown on the drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle.
* To collect goods returned for credit, mail, cheques or delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at all times.
* To ensure Housekeeping standards are maintained.
* Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for Haz Chems.
* To maintain a smart appearance at all times.
* To help maintain good customer relations.
* To be involved in other duties as may be defined from time to time by the Management.

Required:

** Essential
* ** A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven
* For insurance purposes, all drivers must be over 21 years of age
* Existing employees must update fleet services accordingly with any changes to their license status e.g. points on their license, driving bans etc
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent Customer care
* Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy  
** Desirable
* ** Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable
* Route planning experience  
** MANUAL HANDLING
** It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
