About the role

Contract:

Temporary maternity cover, 30 hours per week, term time only.

Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi is bilingual community school, with over 630 students on roll, including a lively sixth form. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our supportive and dynamic team.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ learning across the school, providing both in-class assistance and targeted support where needed. You will help create a positive, inclusive environment that enables all learners to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom.

Assisting pupils with additional learning needs.

Helping to prepare resources and maintain an engaging learning environment.

Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion.

Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

Can work effectively as part of a team.
