Position Overview

The Events and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing company events and engagement activities that strengthen relationships with customers, contractors, and our communities. This role focuses on event logistics, community outreach, and supporting marketing initiatives to ensure successful and impactful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management:

  • Organize and manage company events such as the Annual Contractor Show, contractor dinners and BBQs, and the road race.
  • Handle all event logistics including scheduling, venue setup, vendor coordination, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure events run smoothly and reflect the company’s brand and values.

Community Engagement:

  • Foster positive relationships with community partners and local organizations.
  • Support charitable contributions, sponsor ships, and donation programs by coordinating requests and ensuring alignment with company values.

Administrative & Communication:

  • Maintain event calendars and provide timely updates to internal teams.
  • Draft event-related communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate annual renewals with local advertising partners.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in event management, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in event planning and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with local community organizations and vendors.
  • Previous experience in retail or building supply industry is a plus.
