Experience: 1 to 3 years (depending upon degree); 2 years working with homeless persons with disabilities
Responsibilities- Work as a member of a team of professionals who provide outreach, engagement, case management, and service coordination services to adults who are homeless and have a mental illness or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder.
- Identify eligible individuals and assess their needs.
- Plan and link individuals to resources.
- Monitor and evaluate services and supports.
- Participate in street outreach, engaging people who are homeless at shelters or other community locations.
- Ability to participate in street outreach and engage people who are homeless, possibly living outdoors.
- Active Maine driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Generous leave time with paid sick & vacation time.
- Seven paid holidays and five paid float holiday time for full-time staff; pro-rated time for part-time staff.
