Mon Fri, 7a 3p (5x8s per week; minimum 8 shifts per month, Mondays and Fridays required) COVERAGE DATES - Oct 1, 2025 Ongoing
- Patient Demographics: 90% Adults, 10% Pediatrics
- Patient Volume/Census:
Approx. 25 cases per day - Phone Consults:
No - Case Mix: 95% Surgical, 5% Other; bread and butter cases, outpatient surgery, ICU intubations, medically directed C-sections
- No. of Beds in Department: 165

Epic - Office Equipment Available:
Standard anesthesia equipment - Specialty Backup Available:
Full physician supervision (100% medically directed) - Support Staff Available: RNs, anesthesia team

Qualifications:
Will also consider providers already credentialed at other UPMC sites
- Provide anesthesia coverage across main OR, surgery center, and L&D (approx. 80% OR, 15% surgery, 5% L&D)
- Perform spinals, intubations, MAC, GA, and other anesthesia procedures
- Support elective surgical schedule and assist with overflow and emergent procedures as needed
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and anesthesia team in a medically directed model
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
