Accounts Semi Senior - Carlisle, Cumbria

Salary: £24,000 - £32,000 (DOE)

Clark Wood is working with a well-regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Carlisle, who are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified individual with practice experience to further their career in a supportive and professional environment.

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assist with VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks
• Support the preparation of management accounts and ad hoc client work
• Use cloud accounting software including Xero, Quick Books, and Sage
• Liaise directly with clients and provide support to senior staff

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency with cloud accounting software
