Due to continued growth, we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Estimator to join our North West region, based in either our Chorley or Carlisle offices.

The Role

You will play a pivotal role in securing profitable work and supporting the ongoing growth of our business. You will be central to our work‑winning efforts, bringing your expertise, strategic thinking, and client‑focused approach to every tender.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full tender process from first enquiry through to submission
  • Prepare high‑quality, competitive tenders that deliver value for money
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Work effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and clear project handovers
  • Support continuous improvement by enhancing processes and helping strengthen our work‑winning capability

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical skills and strong personal drive. You will ideally have:

  • HNC (or higher) in Construction, Built Environment, or a related field,
    or 5+ years of proven industry experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Windows and the full Office suite
  • Estimating software experience.
  • A strong estimating background in fields such as Civil Engineering, Highways, Buildings, Water, or Energy projects.
  • A self‑motivated, resilient attitude with the ability to lead and influence
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client‑facing environments.
