Customer Service Delivery Station Liaison

Location:

DPN1 - Unit A&B, Woodlands Industrial Storage Estate, Longtown, 1N51, Carlisle, CA6 5TR

Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour

Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 10:00 – 20:45

Responsibilities
  • Provide best-in-class customer service from within the delivery station by organising successful re‑delivery attempts for customers' parcels.
  • Call customers to confirm crucial delivery details and prevent further delivery delays.
  • After the call, work with warehouse teams and Delivery Service Partners to ensure packages are re‑delivered successfully on the same day.
  • Pre‑emptively solve delivery defects to reduce customer effort.
  • Work variable hours to match when customers need us most, primarily Wednesday – Saturday 10:00 – 20:45.
Requirements
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom without restrictions.
  • Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality industry.
  • Flexible with regard to the non‑negotiable shift schedule of 10:00 – 20:45.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, including written, spoken, listening, and interpreting customer needs.
  • Excellent time‑management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience working under pressure in a high‑volume environment while maintaining standards for productivity, quality and service.
  • Ability to take ownership and be proactive.
  • Intermediate computer literacy.

Assessment
