Job Summary

Our department contributes to a robust teaching programme for doctors in training, foundation doctors, Physician Assistants and Surgical Care Practitioners. This is an opportunity to join an organisation where clinicians are at the forefront of colorectal management with opportunities to practice and expand the services offered and develop close working relationships with the management team.

Main Duties

We are looking for an enthusiastic surgeon to join six other colorectal consultants and one SAS doctor to deliver elective and emergency colorectal and emergency general surgery services. These posts offer the chance to develop subspecialist interests, complement our current services and, for those interested in leadership and management, provide opportunities for development and training. We will work with you to shape your job plan upon appointment, review it after three months, and then annually.

Portfolio roles with academic posts, leadership and medical education, and essential resources including administrative support are also available.
