26 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (including a 30 minute lunch break)
PCD5 £ 25, 989 per annum (Pro rata £13.47 per hour). Term time only + INSET, fixed term until 17th July 2026.
Burgh by Sands School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, caring and passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and successful team. The post involves working in a mixed Nursery and Reception class and will involve class support and supporting small groups of pupils under the direction of the class teacher.
This temporary post, created due to changes in pupil numbers, offers a wonderful opportunity to work in our Nursery and Reception class, supporting children at the very start of their learning journey within a nurturing and engaging environment. Although the post will be a 7‑month fixed term contract initially until 17th July 2026 it may extend beyond this depending on pupil numbers.
There will also be a lunchtime duty commitment of 30 minutes a day.

- A positive role model who demonstrates enthusiasm, reliability, and a caring approach.
Applicants must hold a minimum of an approved Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualification.
