We are recruiting an Education Information Officer to lead the development of Cumberland’s Education offer, SEND Local Offer and Local Inclusion & SEND Offer (LISO). This is a critical role at the centre of improving transparency, accessibility and trust across the Education and SEND system.

You will play a central role in ensuring our Education and SEND information is accurate, co-produced and meets statutory requirements—directly supporting better experiences and outcomes.
What you’ll be doing- Leading the development and ongoing improvement of the Education Offer, Local Offer and LISO
- Ensuring all information is accurate, accessible and compliant with statutory guidance
- Establishing governance and quality assurance processes for content
- Coordinating co-production with children, young people, families and partners
- Monitoring usage data and feedback to continuously improve information
- Working across education, health, social care and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with SEND or education information
- Can translate complex systems into clear, user-friendly content
- Is passionate about co-production and user experience
- Has strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understands statutory duties and accessibility standards
- A key role in improving how the SEND system communicates and connects
- The opportunity to influence system transparency and trust
- Experience working across multiple services and strategic programmes

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check with a Children’s & Adults Barred List check.
