The Governors of Warwick Bridge School are eagerly seeking to appoint an inspirational Headteacher to join our wonderful team. This vacancy has become available as our highly valued Head Teacher is moving on after an incredible 13 years with the school. We are seeking a candidate to build on the school’s success while ensuring that Warwick Bridge School continues to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our pupils.

We seek to appoint an experienced leader with a passion to make a positive impact to a vibrant and welcoming school. Our school is situated on the A69 with close motorway links to South West Scotland and the Lake District. The school is at the heart of an established community and is well supported by all stakeholders. Judged good again by Ofsted in 2025 they found that ‘Pupils are happy at this welcoming, inclusive school.

  • Have leadership experience with a proven record of continued whole school improvement
  • Have experience working across key stages
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Be willing to teach across the school
