Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Teacher Active is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for a range of opportunities, including day‑to‑day supply, long‑term placements, and permanent positions at schools across Carlisle. The role supports students across a range of year groups, working closely with teaching staff to promote engagement, confidence, and academic progress.

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Support students across a range of year groups, collaborating with teachers to foster learning and progress.
• Work closely with teaching staff to promote engagement, confidence, and academic progress.

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to support pupils on a one‑to‑one and small‑group basis.
• A positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Good behaviour management skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
