Pay: £25–£30 per hour (depending on the placement)
Are you an experienced GCSE Tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential?
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to provide high-quality, personalised tuition to students preparing for their GCSEs. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners in building confidence, improving attainment, and reaching their academic goals.
Responsibilities- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging GCSE lessons tailored to each student's learning needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
- Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in subjects such as English, Maths and Science.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations by developing subject knowledge and exam techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and session outcomes.
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students.
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, Science or another GCSE subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) is desirable.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH is advantageous.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Part-time work during weekdays and school hours.
