The Supply Register is recruiting English Lecturers to support Carlisle College on a flexible basis. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in GCSE or Functional Skills English
.
As an English Lecturer
, you will support learners to develop literacy skills and achieve their qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills English
- Supporting reading, writing, and communication skills
- Preparing learners for exams
- Monitoring and tracking progress
- Creating an inclusive learning environment
- Degree in English or related subject
- Experience teaching English (GCSE/Functional Skills)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
