Do you have experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and mobility difficulties?
Are you confident providing personal care and supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 to Key Stage 4 / KS4?
Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Carlisle, supporting children and young people with a range of complex special educational needs. The school provides a supportive environment for pupils with Autism / ASD, ADHD and mobility difficulties, helping them access education while developing their independence and confidence.
The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, working from 8:30am to 3:30pm and providing support across KS1 to KS4. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning and development, while also providing personal care and assistance with mobility where required.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Experience working with Autism / ASD, ADHD and complex additional needs
- Confidence providing personal care
- Experience supporting pupils with mobility difficulties
- A patient, caring and resilient approach
- The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils across KS1 to KS4
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy on-boarding process
