Commutable locations:
Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Hull, Newcastle, Carlisle, Preston, Sheffield.

We're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and technical excellence.

Travel:
Staying away from home ~2 days per week on average, occasional weekend work and overtime paid door to door. Occasional training in Germany.

• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, servicing, and repairs of equipment
• Diagnose technical faults and provide effective solutions
• Carry out preventative maintenance visits
• Keep accurate service reports and documentation
• Provide customer training and support where required
• Work closely with the service team to ensure timely job completion
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer (ideal but not required; we welcome first-time field engineers)
• Knowledge of gluing systems is a plus but not essential
• Knowledge of the packaging industry, especially corrugated or folding cartons, preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Qualifications in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or related field (preferred)
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Self-motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial, and excellent team player skills
