We are looking for a proactive and forward‑thinking Finance Manager to join our team, supporting services across the Council to deliver effective financial management and value for money.

You will play a key role in providing high‑quality financial advice and support to managers, helping drive strong budget management, informed decision‑making and improved service delivery. You will also lead and develop finance staff, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

• Provide expert financial advice to managers and senior stakeholders
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team
• Support budget planning, monitoring and financial reporting
• Build strong business partnering relationships across services
• Develop business cases and ensure robust financial analysis
• Identify and resolve financial issues through innovative solutions
• Promote best practice and continuous improvement across the organisation
