Job Title: Support Worker (Reablement)
Location: Carlisle and surrounding areas
Salary: £13.68 per hour
Hours: 24 and 30 hours per week available
Contract: Permanent
Support at Home is a 365 day a year, 7 day a week, 24‑hour service. This will include weekend and bank holiday rotas. Typically, our shifts run between the hours of 7.30 am – 9.30 pm.

AboutThe Role
As a Reablement Support Worker your role is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes, supporting their recovery after a stay in hospital. You will get the opportunity to know people individually, supporting their recovery and wellbeing through physical and emotional care, including support with everyday tasks, personal care and ensuring that reablement outcomes are met in accordance with a person‑centred, strength based reablement plan.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. If you do have experience, then come and take the next step in your career with us!

There will be a need to respond to service users who will not always be accessible via public transport, due to the geographical dispersal of the staff and people we support, throughout the Service.
DBS ChecksThis role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is an Enhanced DBS Check with an Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Adults.
