Salary: £31,030 – £41,980 per annum

About the role

We are looking for a Therapeutic Intervention Lead to join our Recovery Steps Cumbria service. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in developing and embedding therapeutic interventions across the service, while supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality, evidence-based and trauma-informed support.

As Therapeutic Intervention Lead, you will provide operational leadership for therapeutic interventions across Recovery Steps Cumbria. You will play a key role in developing, implementing and evaluating interventions, helping to ensure that the support we provide continues to meet the needs of the people accessing our services.

You will develop structured intervention programmes around substance use and wellbeing, as well as supporting colleagues through training, coaching and mentoring. You will also help develop our volunteer and peer mentor programmes, creating opportunities for people with lived experience to contribute to service delivery and recovery outcomes.

A key part of the role will be ensuring that people who use our services have a genuine voice in how those services are developed. You will promote meaningful service user involvement and ensure their experiences help shape service development, delivery and evaluation.

You will work closely with colleagues, partner agencies and other services across the community and custodial settings, while also monitoring the effectiveness of interventions and using outcome information to support continuous improvement.

This is a countywide role, so you will need to be comfortable working across Cumbria and adapting to different settings and priorities.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented therapeutic interventions, alongside the confidence to support others to develop their practice.

You will need:

* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or above/equivalent, or a willingness to work towards this in post.

* Strong understanding of evidence-based trauma-informed and recovery-oriented therapeutic interventions.

* Experience of developing, implementing or evaluating therapeutic interventions or programmes.

* Experience of delivering or overseeing individual and group interventions.

* The ability to coach others and enhance frontline delivery.

* An understanding of the needs of a range of service users.

* Experience of working towards individual and team objectives, targets and KPIs.

* The ability to collate information and prepare reports against performance targets.
