You will own our digital marketing channels, using data and analytics to segment our audience and create engaging and creative multi‑channel campaigns to generate sales and bring new leads into the business. You will own the planning and execution of PPC, website and SEO, while working closely with the wider marketing team to deliver the right content to the right audience at the right time.
Mainresponsibilities
The job role includes, but is not exhaustive:
PPC:
Manage paid advertising via current and new channels including Google Ads, ensuring continuous improvement based on results and analytics. Oversee the daily, weekly and monthly planning and performance in line with goals and budget.
Social Media:
Manage paid social media channel planning and reporting, using industry knowledge, business insight, best practice and analytics to deliver leads and sales. Work alongside marketing colleagues to improve organic social content for reach to a wider audience.
Systems:
Become a “Superuser” of the CRM system, becoming the go‑to person for customer knowledge, upskilling the team in how the data impacts digital marketing activities.
Website:
Manage the website Content Management System (CMS) on Word Press, including the design and creation of mobile‑optimised website content, using analytics to continually improve the channel.
SEO:
Own the strategy, management and delivery of SEO, to improve our reach in our target geographical areas.
AI:
Look at the opportunity to develop AI throughout our marketing campaigns and develop action plans to efficiently implement projects which will bring value and ROI.
External Agencies:
Manage day‑to‑day opportunities with our external agencies, using their knowledge and insight to drive better performance for the business across web and PPC.
Internal Team:
Line‑manage the digital team to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with business objectives.
Business:
Build and manage cross‑department relationships to drive digital performance, including sales, service, IT, systems and networks. Ensure compliance with GDPR and other customer legislation across all digital platforms. Own and participate in specific projects to enhance the business as it grows and support the Head of Marketing with key growth activities.
This is a full‑time position working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
This role requires you to travel to our Carlisle HQ at least once per month.
Experience required- 5+ years of experience in a similar digital role
- Experience in services or utilities would be beneficial
- Evidenced PPC and e‑commerce experience
- Experience in CRM systems (Zoho knowledge beneficial)
- Management of social media platforms
- Management of website CMS systems
This role requires you to travel to our Carlisle HQ at least once per month. Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm, 30‑minute unpaid lunch break).
