THE JOB

Taking responsibility for some key day-to-day processes in line with company guidelines and ensuring smooth communication between all parties. Play a key part in offering industry leading levels of service to our internal and external customers.

  • Lead technical support. Be responsible for repairing, diagnosing, maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment from some of the most prestigious agricultural brands.
  • Diagnose and repair problems with machinery and equipment ensuring machinery operates to a high standard in alignment with manufacturer specification to a high level of accuracy.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance as required across the business.
  • Maintain on-call service and offer out of hours support as required.
  • Working within the workshop or in the field/on farm as required.
  • Ensuring Dealer Standards are maintained across the department and maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
  • Maintaining a strong working relationship with all machinery departments ensuring work quality, accuracy and deadlines are met.

Experience And Qualities Required

We are seeking applications from:

  • Experienced team players, able to operate to their own initiative and to tight deadlines with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Individuals that have served their appropriate recognised apprenticeship and have recognised and certificated qualifications for servicing and repairing machinery from leading manufacturers.
  • Those who are flexible in carrying out work both on customer premises and in our workshop.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to manage change and to adapt to unexpected demands on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Confident IT user, including a working knowledge of diagnostic software.
  • Flexibility with working hours during busy season and weekends in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • People who are experienced with equipment and machinery from any other sector.
