We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient running of production equipment within a busy manufacturing environment, for our client in Carlisle. Working a Monday to Friday, 3 shift pattern,,with an excellent benefits package and generous holiday entitlement. Responsibilities
Set up and optimise production lines
Carry out PUWER checks and planned preventative maintenance
Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime
Perform changeovers and die/tool changes
Support wider maintenance activities and process improvements
Requirements
2-3 years' mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing with a well-rounded mechanical aptitude including fitting, machining and welding.
NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
