What will this role achieve?

Will be able to carry out packing tasks and work well with others when packing and feeding biscuits, following all site requirements.

And also need to be proactive with a positive attitude and committed to keeping high production standards while working as part of a busy team

What will be your key deliverables?

• Manually pack products within specifications (includes bending, lifting, stretching)

• Visually check for foreign matter / hazards

• Ensure quality of biscuits being packed is within product specifications

• Ensure adherence to all quality and safety standards.

• Work to a high standard, enabling plants to achieve planned output.

• Report any problems to Packing Supervisor

• Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.

• Support the Supervisors in the introduction and support of any improvement initiatives.

• Provide a co‑ordinated link with all production processes on the line.

• Minimise Waste and re-cycle all product effectively

Essential

• Basic numerical and literacy knowledge

• Manual dexterity

• Basic communication skills

• Basic problem recognition

• Previous knowledge of manufacturing environment

• Excellent team working skills

** What does the recruitment process consist of?**

Assessments Workplace English assessment. These should take around 15 - 20 minutes to complete.

Interview
-30 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
