About this opportunity

Join us as a Countryside/Green Space Ranger Apprentice and start building a career caring for the natural landscapes that our community depends on. This hands‑on apprenticeship is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors, enjoys practical work, and wants to protect and enhance local green spaces for wildlife and people.

As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced rangers to learn skills in habitat management, conservation, grounds maintenance, visitor engagement, and countryside care. You’ll help maintain parks, woodlands, trails, and community green spaces while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical environmental skills, work in nature every day, and contribute to creating safe, accessible, and thriving outdoor spaces for all.

Fundamentally, we are seeking individuals who embody our organisation's core values: ambitious, collaborative, compassionate, empowering, and innovative. We believe in the power of these values to drive positive change and shape a better future for our communities. Your commitment to these principles will be instrumental in delivering services that are vital to the well‑being and prosperity of our residents.

If this sounds like you, then please get in touch!
