We are looking for a Cafe Assistant to join our busy catering team. The café is based in the auction mart building, Borderway Rosehill, Carlisle and serves both H&H Group employees and customers.
The Successful Applicant WillPreferably have worked in hospitality or similar catering establishments.
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to work quickly under pressure whilst remaining calm and polite in all circumstances
- Have an understanding of health and safety regulations relating to catering
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks to customers as required.
- Collecting payments from customers.
- Clearing tables.
- Filling service areas with condiments, napkins etc. as required.
- Assisting with the preparation of hot and cold meals, in accordance with pre-set menus as and when required.
- Work up to 20 hours per week, preferably early mornings and weekends, with flexibility in hours.
