Pay and HoursOur Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. You can work fewer hours (minimum 12) if desired.

- Work across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.

- Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet the needs of customers at the right time.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about your store's performance, understand your role and what is needed to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure customers receive them in the best condition.
- Live our values, treat everyone with respect, and follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
- A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
- The ability to build rapport with customers, leaving them having experienced a great shopping trip.
