Pay

Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store
  • Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries
  • Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best
  • Confidently leading the store in the Manager's absence
  • Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change
  • Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service
  • Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met
  • Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment
  • A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed
  • A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results
  • Must be 18 or over to apply for this role
