Our Skilled Baker rate of pay starts from £13.38 an hour; this increases to £14.59 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; a minimum of 12 hours is also available for those who prefer fewer hours.

• Baking in waves for scratch products to ensure fresh products are available throughout the day, minimizing waste and maintaining yield and quality.
• Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Adhering to all food hygiene, safety and allergen guidelines at all times.
• Demonstrating passion and knowledge about the products and services within the department and store.
• Applying training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
• Proactively checking emergency stop buttons and ensuring machinery is safe before operation; reporting any issues to the Shift Leader or Team Manager.
• Disposing of waste responsibly, following food waste and recycling routines.
• Understanding the store’s performance and working to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.

• Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required, and showing passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
