Sales Assistant

Purpose

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Carlisle store. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour plus a non‑contractual hourly sales commission. Our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers, and you will have opportunities to grow and develop within your retail career.

This is a part‑time, permanent position contracted to work 8 hours per week. The ideal candidate has the energy, drive and passion to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing retail environment.

• Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information on products.
• Serving customers at the till and processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Continuously replenishing stock to keep shelves fully stocked.
• Processing stock deliveries promptly.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor to a high standard.
• Carrying out any additional ad‑hoc duties as required.
