Security Operative

About the role

42 hours per week 4 on 4 off (Nights 17:05‑5:15am) £14.06 per hour opportunities for career development plus our Sodexo employee benefits package. Security Officer – Crown Bevcan, Botcherby, Carlisle, CA1 2TL

• Manage gatehouse operations
• Monitor CCTV systems
• Control vehicle and visitor access
• Complete security paperwork and reports
• Carry out reception duties
• Answer telephones and emails
• Maintain security records
• Respond to alarms and incidents
• Complete shift handovers
• Work independently on night shifts
• Deliver excellent customer service

• Valid SIA Licence (essential)
• Previous gatehouse or reception security experience
• Strong administration skills
• Good IT and computer skills
• Experience monitoring CCTV
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work alone and make decisions
• Professional and reliable approach
