Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Support Officer to work in our client’s Supported Housing service based In Carlisle.

Pay Rates: £12.21 - £14.48 per hour umbrella rate

Information the Role:

Please note:

This is NOT a care role.
This position is approximately 80% administration-based, so strong IT and organisational skills are essential. The role involves supporting vulnerable young people and adults within a supported housing setting, ensuring accurate record-keeping, compliance with safeguarding standards, and contributing to a safe and structured environment.

What you will be doing:

Completing detailed administrative tasks and maintaining accurate case records
Supporting residents with tenancy-related matters and general guidance
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
Promoting a safe, trauma-informed environment
Essential Skills & Experience

Strong IT and administrative skills
Experience supporting vulnerable people
Safeguarding Adults & Children (essential)
Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce)
Trauma awareness
Mental health experience
Ideal Background

This role would particularly suit candidates with experience in:

Supported housing
Children’s homes
Mental health services
