Development and Coding:
Writes logical, maintainable, and efficient code following organisational coding standards Uses programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, React, or Java depending on project needs. Contribute to code repositories using Git Hub and Devops. Builds front-end, back-end, or full-stack components of software projects Integrates software with APIs and databases Database management - SQL, XML & Jason Project Management:
Track and manage tasks using Jira. Learning and Development:
Engage in self-learning activities to improve technical skills and knowledge. Work towards obtaining certification in a specified IBM product. Testing:
Identifies and documents bugs (functional, syntax, logical, calculation, unit-level, system-level). Supports non-functional / functional testing for performance, security, and usability. Salary, Hours&Benefits:
Salary £21,000 Fully Remote Role This role is permanent, working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week 33 Days Annual Leave (includes Public Holidays) Optional Membership to BUPA Healthcare Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Company Pension Scheme Electric Vehicle Scheme Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of a Programming Language (Python, Java, SQL). Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git Hub. Understanding of integrated development environments, especially Eclipse Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Self-motivated with a proactive learning attitude GCSE's (Maths B equivalent), English
C) Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships Learn to create, test, and implement code as part of a professional software development team. With our unique apprenticeship programme, you'll build an impressive range of coding skills - and learn to thrive as a junior developer. You'll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team.
Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
