Location : Carlisle

Hours : Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:15pm

Pay rate : £13.50 per hour rising to £14.00 after a successful trial period

Contract : Permanent

Hours paid : 38¾ hours per week

We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Delivery Driver to join a well‑established business based in Carlisle. This is a permanent role offering steady daytime hours, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to build a long‑term position within a respected local company.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out deliveries across Cumbria and South West Scotland, ensuring all goods are handled safely and delivered on time. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent service and taking pride in representing a trusted business.

• Carry out daily multi‑drop deliveries across Cumbria and South West Scotland
• Load and unload the van safely and efficiently
• Check all goods before departure to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain delivery records and complete basic paperwork
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers at every delivery point
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy at all times
• Follow all driving and health & safety regulations

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role preferred
• Good local knowledge of Cumbria and South West Scotland
• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading / unloading
• Punctual, polite and committed to delivering excellent customer service
• Reliable, trustworthy and a team player
