The Opportunity

We are seeking reliable and motivated Linehaul Courier Drivers to join our team with an immediate start available
. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast‑paced and essential operation, ensuring goods are transported efficiently between distribution centres, warehouses, and customer locations.

• Day Rate (08:00 - 19:00): £16.17 per hour
• Night Rate (19:00 - 08:00): £19.97 per hour
• Overtime (over 45 hours): £24.26 per hour

• Safely operate a van across designated linehaul routes
• Transport goods efficiently between depots, warehouses, and customer locations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are handled and secured correctly
• Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery records using company systems
• Communicate effectively with the transport team, reporting delays or issues promptly
• Provide a high level of service when interacting with internal and external customers
• Assist with route planning to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
• Previous commercial driving experience (linehaul or logistics preferred)
• Familiarity with GPS and route planning tools
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to safely handle and move parcels (manual handling)
• Good understanding of transport safety standards and regulations
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving

• Driving for extended periods in varying road and weather conditions
• Regular interaction with warehouse and operations teams
• Split shifts and night work required - Example shift pattern: 17:20-21:40 and 05:20-09:50 (Sleep out time unpaid)
• Occasional overnight stays may be required

• Consistently meeting delivery schedules
• Maintaining high safety and compliance standards
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Ensuring vehicles are kept in good condition

All successful candidates will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and pass a full vetting process prior to starting.

This process includes:

• Verification of address history
• Review of employment history
• Standard background checks in line with company and industry requirements
