Job Overview
GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Carlisle (CA6) for one of the world’s leading parcel delivery networks.
Work ScheduleDrivers shifts: we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis – 1300‑2030 starts, Monday to Friday, average 12 hour shift.
Pay & Benefits- Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour
- Saturday: £25.94 per hour
- Sunday: £28.95 per hour
- Conduct vehicle checks
- Trunking work to depots
- Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritise workload to ensure time commitments are met
- A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Hold a valid, in‑date tachograph & CPC
- At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
