Class 1 Driver

Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 1 Drivers (CAT CE )for TEMP-PERM
with our well known and established client in the Carlisle area. This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role resulting in a permanent position after 12 weeks.

DAYS , TRAMPING AND NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE

The role involves operating a HGV Class 1 vehicle , doing RDC runs to various supermarkets . Handballing on some sites will be required

The Role for a HGV Driver:

• DAYS 06:00AM Start
• NIGHTS 18:00PM Stary
• Overtime paid after 8 hours
• Average shift lenght 10-12 hours
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Immediate starts
• Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally

What You’ll Need:

• Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class
  1) entitlement
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

This role is ideal for a HGV driver seeking stable, long‑term work with the possibility of Temp-perm after 12 weeks
