Class 2 driver

  Typically 5:00pm - 6:00pm (finish times may vary depending on workload) The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join one of our clients on a multi-drop delivery operation.

Duties Include:

Driving a large rigid goods vehicle safely and professionally.

Completing multi-drop deliveries to various destinations.

Loading and unloading goods when required.

Conducting pre- and post-use vehicle inspections in line with company procedures.

Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.

Obtaining customer signatures on Proof of Delivery (POD) notes.

Working alongside a driver's mate when delivering retail goods to residential properties.

Operating vehicles fitted with tail lifts where required.

Following planned routes, schedules, and client instructions.

Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category

C) Licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Good customer service skills Ability to complete manual handling duties Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
