Fleet Manager

Location: Carlisle AreaSalary: £55-£65,000 base salary DOE Summary: We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to take ownership of a busy and diverse vehicle fleet, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and operational performance. Must have experience of managing 150+ fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven and strategic individual who enjoys using analytics to optimise fleet performance and drive continuous improvement.

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are compliant, cost-effective, and operating at maximum efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the fleet, ensuring maximum vehicle availability and utilisation
• Oversee all fleet compliance, including Operator Licence requirements, maintenance schedules, MOTs, inspections, and legal obligations
• Analyse fleet performance data and produce detailed reports and KPIs
• Drive optimisation initiatives to improve vehicle utilisation, reduce operating costs, and increase operational efficiency
• Manage fleet maintenance providers and supplier relationships
