Warehouse Charge Hand

Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Charge Hand to join our client's busy facility in Carlisle.

What's on offer?

Full-time permanent position - 41 hours per week
Working Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 10pm
An annual salary of £28,078.44 per annum

In this hands-on role, you'll lead a small warehouse team, ensuring smooth operations and helping get technology products ready for delivery. Your day-to-day duties include:

Lead and engage your warehouse team to deliver high standards
Manage warehouse processes including shunting, loading/unloading, and operating MHE
Support safe transport and handling of technology products
Help maintain organisation and efficiency across the site

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys coaching and motivating others.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience overseeing or supporting warehouse teams

Experience of coaching or mentoring colleagues
Strong communication and time management skills
FLT licence and experience is advantageous
Driving licence preferred
Recycling experience desired
